Every body belongs here.
Yours included.
You're In The Right Place
If you've spent your life believing your body is the problem, you're not alone.
Maybe you've spent years chasing the next diet, feeling like you failed every time your body refused to cooperate. Maybe pregnancy, infertility, illness, disability, aging, gender dysphoria, or chronic pain changed the way you relate to your body. Maybe doctor's appointments leave you feeling judged instead of cared for, or you're worn down by the constant mental math around food, exercise, and what your body "should" look like.
Bodies change. Bodies carry stories. Bodies hold joy, grief, trauma, illness, healing, and survival. You deserve care that honors all of it.
Body image concerns, body shame, and weight stigma in healthcare

How We Help
Therapy that helps you embrace all the parts of you.
We believe every person deserves respectful, affirming care, regardless of body size, ability, gender identity, appearance, or health status. Together we'll explore the messages you've absorbed about beauty, health, worth, and belonging, and process the shame, grief, and stigma underneath them. Rather than focusing on changing your body, we focus on changing your relationship with it. Many of our clinicians integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, Brainspotting, mindfulness, self-compassion, and attachment-focused therapy, because healing isn't about fixing yourself. It's about coming home to yourself. Our clinicians are weight-inclusive, many lean into Health at Every Size principles, and we collaborate with body-inclusive medical and nutrition providers when it helps.
Who it’s for
Every body deserves compassionate care.
Whether you've struggled with body image for decades, are recovering from an eating disorder, are navigating disability or chronic illness, adjusting to pregnancy or postpartum changes, exploring your gender identity, or simply want to stop being at war with yourself, you belong here. We work with children, adolescents, and adults, including LGBTQIA+ clients, people in larger bodies, and disabled and chronically ill clients.
Your Specialists
This isn't about loving your body every moment.
It's about living your life without your body deciding your worth. Our therapists understand how culture, trauma, identity, and lived experience shape the way we relate to our bodies. We provide evidence-based, affirming therapy that recognizes every body deserves dignity and respect. At Vayda, healing begins when you no longer have to earn your humanity.
Questions people ask
A few things you might be wondering.
Do I have to have an eating disorder to benefit from this?
Not at all. Many people come because they're worn down by body shame, chronic self-criticism, weight stigma, or a changing body.
Is this only for people in larger bodies?
No. Body-inclusive care welcomes people of every size, ability, gender identity, age, and lived experience.
Will you tell me what to eat or help me lose weight?
No. This isn't nutrition counseling or weight-loss coaching. Our work is about your relationship with your body and your wellbeing. When it helps, we collaborate with and refer to other providers.
What does body-inclusive mean?
Care that honors bodies of every shape, size, ability, and identity. Therapy that's affirming, accessible, and free from shame.
Do you take insurance?
Yes, in-network with most major plans.
You don't have to do this alone.
